Great News!

Taylor is going to have a fishing and hunting buddy! Josh's brother Jared and his wife Haley are expecting a baby boy late May - early June. We are SO very excited for his arrival. Laynie was hoping for a girl, of course. I told her she can stay home with the girls and hunt (shop) while the boys go on their adventures. Daddy seems to think she will go on these adventures with the boys. We'll see about that! Ha!

Story Time!

All is going wonderful. We had such a blessed Christmas. Our 2 gifts from God were all Josh and I wanted.

On a different note, I'm happy to report that I have a new job. I've decided to stay at home with my bundles of joy! My official job title is Mom Of Twins. I should get business cards too. Ha!! I feel very blessed to be able to stay at home with Laynie and Taylor. We've worked very hard over the past 4 plus years to make this happen and it just feels so good to be in this place.

We wish you all a very Happy New Year! I never imagined I'd begin 2009 with a baby boy and baby girl. It's truly amazing. My advice for 2009: Always dream and pursue those dreams.....don't ever give up, be strong and keep moving forward. The rewards take time, be patient! I often look back on all of the hard work, strength and determination it took to have our family and it's so amazing how our dreams came to life.

Survived another round of shots!

It breaks your heart to watch your babies get shots. Between the 2, they had 6 shots. That's a lot of screams and cries to go through. It's SO much harder on the mommy than the babies.

Look....I can fit in my stocking!

Sissy is too big for hers! Hee! Hee!

Merry Christmas!

Hanging @ Mimi and Papa's

All Is Great!

Although life is very busy, we are having so much fun with the twins. They are smiling now, especially in the morning and evenings. They really like to listen to music and love for Josh and I to dance and sing for them. Their personalities are really shining through and it's so much fun to watch. We are all excited for our first Christmas together. What an amazing holiday season for us. We are so thankful to have our babies home and healthy.

Laynie is getting so big. We have managed to nickname her "moose". I'm afraid it might stick too. I prefer "missy moo". They both will have many nicknames, I'm sure. She's now 10 lbs, 4 ozs. Taylor or "tay tay" or "taylor bug" is growing fast. He's now 7lbs, 10 ozs. Doc is very happy with his growth pattern and said if he keeps it up he will "catch-up" by his first birthday. Wow! We thought it would take him several years.

Josh and I are doing great! We are able to do more and more on our own. We do need lots of "breaks" and have wonderful support from family to get those breaks. Josh's mom gets to slowly have her life back as we decrease the number of nights she stays with us. Things are becoming more manageable and we've found many short-cuts to get things done. We are so thankful for all the help we've received! I truly wouldn't have survived without it! Oh and I should say...will continue to need help for the next 18 years!!!!!!!!! EEKS!

We hope you have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
