Taylor was not alert at all today. He's very medicated and needs his rest. The nurse said he's doing really well, his vitals look good and it will take him some time to recover. We are hoping to see him awake and alert tomorrow. I know he has to be on all of the machines and medications, but I just CAN'T wait for the day he gets off all of it. It's so hard to see him like this and not being able to hold him, know his personality or even what he looks like is killing me. We must continue to pray for his health and strength as he recovers from his surgery. Taylor weighed 2 lbs, 10.7 ounces, but once again this is probably not very accurate as he is retaining a lot of fluids.
Laynie is doing wonderful!! She's learning to breast feed and doing an excellent job. That has been a lot of fun. She's such a joy! She weighed 3lbs, 4.3 ounces.
Josh and I are very blessed for each day that passes. Both Laynie and Taylor are growing and getting stronger. We are still on the roller coaster especially with Taylor. He can have really good days and then the next day can be really bad until he recovers from the surgery and his intestine issue. We are hoping and praying the end will come soon and we can celebrate the hurdles he has overcome.

Little Taylor must be so tired after his big day in surgery! It's good that he is getting this much needed rest, but Iknow it must be hard not to hold him and see him as alert as Laynie. The day will come soon and he will be such a joy to see and hold. I wlll be praying that day come sooner than later for you and Josh. God is holding him close for you until you can take over in the holding department! Little Taylor is in good hands and is soo loved!
Love you guys!
